Nearly twenty years ago, the Rabbi served as head of a kollel of scholars and instilled learning with warmth and fervor, and in addition delivered captivating Torah classes. Even then, the fire burning in his heart was evident in his passion to spread the light of Torah that would touch every Jew and a simple, true love for every Jew wherever he may be.
His heart burning with love for Israel constantly saw the needs of his brothers, and these needs that arose from the field caused the expansion of his activities for the people of Israel more and more. Thus the concept of Barditshov grew and expanded, reaching dimensions that encompass the needs of thousands from the people of Israel in every area and need—physical, spiritual, and Torah-related—and constitutes a center of attraction for the masses to consult and receive guidance, support, and blessing, and to be helped with every issue that arises and is needed.

Every week, astounding quantities of food baskets are distributed to families blessed with children, to the needy, and to the elderly and lonely who struggle to bear alone the burden of expenses involved, and among them are those who, without the support and sense of embrace, might fall into difficult emotional states. Thus they bring light and joy, peace and love to their homes.
In addition, during the holiday months, the organization works with professional logistics from the heart on massive distributions of food baskets and holiday products to thousands of needy families and individuals who, thanks to this, succeed in bringing the holiday into their homes with dignity and festivity, with tranquility and calm.
The organization also operates a soup kitchen with hot, tasty, and nutritious meals for those who cannot achieve this on their own, thereby sustaining the lonely and destitute.
Another special kindness activity is a comprehensive GMACH for mourners established by order of the Rabbi, may he live, which provides halachic and logistical assistance to families during their difficult time when there is a case of mourning in the family, including lending all necessary equipment and appropriate halachic guidance.
Many activities and resources are invested in strengthening and saving at-risk youth from deterioration and disconnection from the people of Israel, God forbid, as well as among girls and boys who, to our great sorrow, go out with gentiles and Arabs, and through the warm heart they merit in the organization to return them with divine assistance to the bosom of Judaism and to let them taste its light.
