The Or L’Yisrael Charitable Organization, founded by Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Linker, serves as a source of light, hope, and assistance to thousands of families, elderly individuals, single people, and soldiers who require genuine support. Through wholehearted giving, we provide extensive assistance throughout the year – bringing light and joy to every home.
Every week, we distribute rich and varied food baskets to low-income families, widows, orphans, and single individuals. The food packages are not merely physical assistance – they are a warm embrace, a sense of worth and dignity for those who need them.
During holidays, the organization expands to tremendous proportions – massive distributions of food and products, enabling thousands of families to celebrate with dignity. Last Passover eve, over 1,000 baskets filled with the finest products were distributed, including meat, poultry, and fish – all given with respect and love for the recipients.
As part of our vision, we are working to establish a soup kitchen within the facility – a place that will provide hot meals to all in need, in a dignified and warm atmosphere. Together with you, we can realize this vision!
During the most difficult times, we stand alongside bereaved families – providing necessary logistical equipment, halachic guidance and assistance, to ease their burden during these painful moments.
We send warmth and love to our dear soldiers as well – blankets, warm clothing, hot meals, menorahs, and more – giving them the feeling that they are not alone and providing them with love and a warm embrace to illuminate a warm point in their hearts.
